What Is EVO ICL?
EVO ICL is a thin, flexible lens that is surgically placed behind the iris and in front of your eye’s natural lens.
The lens is made from Collamer®, a proprietary biocompatible material designed to work in harmony with the eye. Once positioned, you typically cannot see or feel the lens.
Unlike traditional contact lenses, EVO ICL remains inside the eye and does not require daily removal, cleaning, or replacement.
It is considered an additive vision correction procedure because your surgeon does not remove your natural lens or reshape your corneal tissue.
EVO ICL is intended to remain in place long term, but the lens can also be removed by an eye surgeon if medically necessary.
