Dr. Michael Campion is a board certified ophthalmologist providing general ophthalmologic care throughout the state of Arizona.
Dr. Campion was born in Burbank, California. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. An internship at New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center in New Rochelle, New York was followed by a residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York, New York.
Dr. Campion has extensive experience in surgery of the anterior segment of the eye, especially refractive and cataract surgery. He has conducted educational seminars for other physicians since 1985. Dr. Campion has continually augmented his own education particularly in the field of refractive surgery where he is certified to perform custom LASIK, PRK, implantable contact lenses and premium intraocular lenses. He holds several patents relating to eye surgery.
True to his altruistic nature, Dr. Campion has performed countless hours of free surgery in several different countries to those needy patients who otherwise could not afford surgery. In his rare leisure time, Dr. Campion relaxes with his wife, Elena, and their three children.
