Melissa Pongratz, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Pongratz grew up in Fort Worth, TX, and graduated cum laude from Oklahoma State University and magna cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
During school, she served in various roles on a local and national level to organize vision care clinics throughout Central and South America, as well as on a local level in Memphis and across Tennessee. Dr. Pongratz also has been involved in many organizations, including the American Academy of Optometry, and serves as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Pongratz completed her residency at Eye Center of Texas in Houston, TX, specializing in ocular disease and surgical co-management in a high-volume referral center setting. She is dedicated to providing high-quality eye care to her patients and continuing to support national and international public health initiatives.
Dr. Pongratz is excited to have relocated to Phoenix, and in her free time enjoys live music, good food, and spending time in the great outdoors.
