Mary Fisher, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Mary Fisher is a board-certified optometrist who has been serving patients and the profession of optometry since she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry 1991. She provides primary and secondary eye care with an emphasis on medical optometry, including pre-surgical and post-surgical care. She sees patients at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center locations in Sun City and Surprise.

Dr. Fisher worked with Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, completing a residency in secondary ophthalmic care and as a staff optometrist, prior to serving as Chief of Optometric Services at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, Ariz., and then moving to Michigan to open her own practice. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Pacific University College of Optometry, Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) and Michigan College of Optometry and has served as a residency program coordinator at SCCO.

Dr. Fisher was appointed by then-governor Jane Dee Hull to the Arizona State Board of Optometry, where she was president in 2001. She is a former president and current member of the Arizona Optometric Association and a current member of the American Optometric Association.
