Clinical Expertise

Dr. Renée McCoy is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon in Tempe and Mesa Arizona.  She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine and her residency at Case Western Reserve University and the residing hospitals in Cleveland, OH.

Education and Medical Training

With her extensive experience, she has held significant leadership roles, most recently as the Supervising Physician Director for Ophthalmology and Optometry at Evernorth Care Group, where she was a comprehensive ophthalmologist since April 2012. In addition to her clinical work, she was a member of the Evernorth Outpatient Surgery Center Quality and Governing Board. Recognized as an expert in her field, Dr. McCoy has also served as a subject matter expert and trainer for the Epic EHR Transition Team.

Accolades

Dr. McCoy has performs over 1,500 cataract surgeries annually, and is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
