Dr. Garber was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He played many sports growing up and found a particular passion for hockey. After he graduated from high school, he moved to British Colombia, Canada for 2 years to play hockey at a competitive level.
After returning to the States, he finished his undergraduate at Arizona State University and then went on to Southern California College of Optometry for graduate school. Dr. Garber completed his residency in Primary Eye Care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City with an emphasis in Specialty Contact Lenses from the John A. Moran Eye Center. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association.
In his free time, Dr. Garber likes to stay active. He still enjoys playing hockey, as well as hiking, biking, and running.
