Optometrist
Dr. Michael Rollins is a primary care optometrist providing full-scope eye care with emphasis on treatment and management of ocular disease, pre- and post-surgical care, and regular exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Dr. Rollins was raised in Green River, Wyoming, and earned dual bachelor degrees in biology and Spanish at the University of Wyoming. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, graduating with honors. His team clinical thesis study was published in the peer-reviewed American Optometric Association journal. He completed externships at the Eye Institute of Utah, the Portland Oregon Veterans Administration hospital and Pacific University.
Dr. Rollins is licensed by the State Board of Arizona and is a member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Rollins is fluent in Spanish after spending two years in southern Mexico. His hobbies include auto mechanics, cycling, motorcycles and alpine skiing.
