Congratulations are in order to Heather Mancini, Oculoplastics Team Manager. Heather has been accepted to The Royal Academy of Surgical Assisting to begin training as a Surgical First Assist. In this new role Heather will continue to grow the oculoplastic surgical practice by directly assisting Zachary Berbos, MD with his surgical cases in a hands-on manner by participating in procedures involving tissue resection and wound closure, thereby continuing to improve the efficiency and level of patient care delivered by Dr. Berbos and the Oculoplastics division of Barnet Dulaney Perkins.
Heather joined Barnet Dulaney Perkins in 2012 with over 15 years of ophthalmology experience. She joined the practice as the Oculoplastic Team lead and has since become the Oculoplastics Team Manager, she has been essential in the continual growth and evolution of the Oculoplastics division of our practice and we are proud to have her with us as we strive to deliver excellent patient care.
