Brent Hartzell, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Brent Hartzell earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. Prior to this, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Spanish minor from Brigham Young University. He performed a residency at the Southern Arizona Veteran’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ where he had a particular educational and clinical emphasis in low vision rehabilitation and ocular disease. Shortly after the completion of his residency, he completed his Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Hartzell is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
He has actively served for several years in leadership positions with the Southern Arizona Optometric Society; including the position of president. Dr. Hartzell also lectures to local community groups regarding the nature of and treatments for prevalent age-related eye diseases.
