Dr. Delu Song is a highly trained vitreoretinal specialist dedicated to caring for patients with a wide range of retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and inherited retinal disorders. Education and Medical Training
Dr. Song earned his MD and PhD from Peking Union Medical College, followed by a Master of Translational Research at the University of Pennsylvania. His postgraduate training includes research at the Scheie Eye Institute, an internal medicine internship at Hahnemann University Hospital, and an ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute. He completed an advanced vitreoretinal surgery fellowship training at the Shiley Eye Institute at the University of California, San Diego.
