Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center partnered with the American Vision Partners network in July of 2017. We are excited to share with you that you will begin seeing the American Vision Partners name on communications from Barnet Dulaney Perkins in the summer of 2021.

What does this mean for you?

When you receive appointment reminder notifications or recall notices, you will see American Vision Partners name and logo on the postcard and email notifications. You will also hear the name American Vision Partners in phone messages. When you receive a statement from our Billing Department, the statement will display the American Vision Partners name and logo and you will see the American Vision Partners practice name when you log into your Patient Portal account.

We want to assure you that the continuity of your care with your current Barnet Dulaney Perkins providers will not be interrupted. You will continue to receive the same high-quality care you have come to expect and you will continue to work with the same doctors and staff you have always trusted for your eye care needs. You will still see the recognized Barnet Dulaney Perkins name on our buildings, signs and entrance doors and will visit us in the same clinic locations you are familiar with.

Why are we updating the BDP name to be affiliated with American Vision Partners in some areas?

As American Vision Partners continues to grow, we need to ensure that our platform is scalable and will grow with us. Integrating our individual practices into a single platform supports ongoing growth and aligns with our One Team. One Vision. motto. The integration process is being done in phases with this being the next step to building the highest quality eye care practice.

How will this change impact BDP Providers?

The Providers have been involved and supportive of these changes as they recognize the positive impact these changes will have.  Patients will continue to enjoy the same care from their doctors at our Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center locations.

Where can I expect to see the new logo?

Patients will still see the recognized Barnet Dulaney Perkins logo on our buildings. The entrance doors to the buildings and team member scrubs tops will display the Barnet Dulaney Perkins logo with “ An Affiliate of American Vision Partners”. Patient-facing forms such as the Financial Disclosure and Patient Acknowledgment forms will display the American Vision Partners name. Patients will also begin to see and hear the American Vision Partners name on reminder notifications, recall notices, billing statements and the NextGen Patient Portal.
