Dr. Steve Kopp brings extensive experience in comprehensive eye care, working closely with the cataract, cornea, glaucoma, and retinal specialists at the Sun City office. He focuses on preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring patients receive the highest level of support throughout their surgical journey.
Previously, Dr. Kopp practiced in the West Valley and Kingman. Before moving to Arizona, he worked in the Tri-Cities, Washington area with a retinal group specializing in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and posterior segment diseases. He also owned a private practice in central Oregon, where he focused on geriatric care for rural communities.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Kopp earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1991, marking the start of more than 30 years of experience providing exceptional eye care. Before that, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Biology at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho in 1987. His strong educational foundation and decades of hands-on clinical work allow him to deliver advanced, patient-centered care.

His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and cherishing time with his eight grown children and 15 grandchildren.
