Dr. Phillip Boyer is a highly skilled ophthalmologist who focuses on comprehensive eye exams and surgical ophthalmology. His clinical expertise centers on advanced cataract surgery, including the use of intraocular lens implants (IOLs) to help patients achieve optimal visual outcomes.
Education
Dr. Boyer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. He went on to complete medical school at Des Moines University, followed by an internship at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He was recognized with a certificate from Michigan State University for his accomplishments during residency.

During residency, Dr. Boyer was honored as Chief Resident and received a certificate of achievement from Michigan State University. He is licensed to practice in Arizona and is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic Association.
Personal Interests
An Arizona native, Dr. Boyer was born and raised in Sierra Vista. He and his wife, Tracy, have five children. In his free time, Dr. Boyer enjoys spending time with his family and exploring his passions for the outdoors, photography, and classic automobiles.
