Education and Medical Training

Dr. Fisher earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1991. She completed a residency in secondary ophthalmic care at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, where she also served as a staff optometrist.

Accolades

Dr. Fisher has held leadership roles in both clinical and professional settings. She served as Chief of Optometric Services at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, Ariz., and later opened her own practice in Michigan. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Pacific University College of Optometry, Southern California College of Optometry, and Michigan College of Optometry. In addition, she coordinated the residency program at SCCO.
Appointed by Governor Jane Dee Hull to the Arizona State Board of Optometry, she served as president in 2001. She is a past president and current member of the Arizona Optometric Association and an active member of the American Optometric Association.
