Dr. Daniel Dansdill is originally from Rockford, Illinois. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataracts and has advanced training in anterior segment surgery.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Dansdill began his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, planning to study engineering. After discovering his passion for medicine and patient care, he switched to a Pre-Med track. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed his internship at Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
He then finished his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at the University of Missouri in Columbia, gaining hands-on clinical and surgical experience.
Accolades
During his fellowship, he received intensive clinical and surgical training in treating glaucoma and cataracts. He continues to be involved with clinical research related to the pathology and treatment of these disorders.
Personal Interests
Dr. Dandsdill is the oldest of 3 children and grew up loving movies, math, and football. Today, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and best friend, Kristi, and their dog, Brisket. His hobbies include golfing, hiking, skiing, fishing, and enjoying the AZ heat.
