Clinical Expertise
Dr. Andrew Rabinowitz specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma. With over 25 years of experience, he is a nationally recognized expert in glaucoma care and has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Rabinowitz has delivered lectures across the country on all aspects of glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. Since joining Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in 2000, he has remained committed to prioritizing patients while ensuring clinical excellence throughout the organization. He currently serves as Senior Advisor Emeritus on American Vision Partners’ Medical Leadership team.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Rabinowitz earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Hahnemann University Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed Fellowship Training in glaucoma at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City, a globally recognized institution for ophthalmic subspecialty training.
