Kenneth Snow, DO has been serving patients in Arizona for nearly 30 years and has been with Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center since 2004. He provides comprehensive eye care, and his patients benefit from his decades-long commitment to performing state-of-the-art cataract surgery. As a refractive cataract surgeon, Dr. Snow works closely with patients to ensure they achieve the best possible postoperative vision, which is tailored to their individual lifestyles. To help patients reach their vision goals, he uses the latest technologies that are designed to improve the accuracy of results and the most advanced intraocular lenses (IOLs) that reduce or eliminate the need to wear glasses.
Dr. Snow is the medical director and performs cataract surgery at the Barnet Dulaney Perkins surgery centers in Safford and on East Wetmore Road in Tucson. He sees patients for office visits at the Tucson, Safford and Green Valley locations.
Dr. Snow is a Fellow of the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, distinctions granted to physicians who meet rigorous professional standards and have contributed to progress in their fields. Along with his colleagues at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, he is active in research evaluating new ophthalmic medications, devices and surgical techniques. Often invited to speak at ophthalmology conferences, they help physicians around the world stay up to date on current approaches to patient care. Dr. Snow has held many leadership positions in medicine, including chairman of the Tucson Osteopathic Medical Foundation and chairman of the Department of Surgery and chief of staff at Tucson General Hospital.
Dr. Snow and his wife, Shirla, have five grown children and enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren. Originally from Utah, and a member of a family that helped settle the Southwest, Dr. Snow is an expert on the history of the region and often speaks to various groups on this topic. He is active in his church and counts among his hobbies marksmanship, target shooting and being a film buff with a special interest in old movies.
